Our mission.
We strengthen the social and economic well-being of the communities where Union Monique Bank operates.
For more than 20 years, the Union Monique Foundation has funded nonprofits that strengthen the communities we serve.
Founded in 2004, the Union Monique Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Union Monique Bank. Funded by employee contributions, it supports programs that improve social and economic well-being in our communities.

We strengthen the social and economic well-being of the communities where Union Monique Bank operates.
To date, we have awarded more than $6.5 million to community organizations across our service regions.
We work alongside community partners and employee volunteers to create lasting, positive change.
Each supported organization is paired with an employee liaison who helps build a direct connection between our team and the community.
The Foundation supports registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that meet the criteria below.
Programs that support students through tutoring, mentoring, arts education, college access, career readiness, and related services.
Programs that strengthen neighborhoods through housing support, community centers, food security, local infrastructure, and other essential services.
Programs that teach personal finance skills, build confidence in money decisions, and help people avoid fraud and financial hardship.
Grant applications are accepted from August 1 to August 31 each year through our online portal. Employee liaisons may not submit applications on behalf of an organization.
We review all proposals. Priority is given to organizations that match our focus areas, offer volunteer opportunities, and show long-term program sustainability.
