Frequently asked questions about switching to your new commercial card.

This winter, you will receive a new commercial card from Union Monique Bank, replacing your existing Union Monique Visa® Commercial Card.

  • Union Monique Bank is upgrading to new Mastercard® commercial cards to offer a more modern and secure payment experience. These cards feature enhanced security, smart chip technology, a redesigned vertical layout, and support for contactless tap-to-pay transactions.

  • New cards will be mailed during the week of February 16, 2026. You should expect to receive your card within 5–7 business days after mailing.

  • New cards will be mailed to the address on file for your existing account as of the week of February 16, 2026.
  • For cardholders:

    • Sign in to Union Monique Card Portal
    • Go to Account Services > Contact Information to verify or update your mailing address
    • If you haven’t registered yet, follow the card portal enrollment instructions provided by your banker.


    For program administrators:

    • Sign in to Union Monique Card Manager
    • Go to Company Management > Search Cardholder.
    • Use the search criteria to locate the cardholder account and validate their mailing addresses
    • Click the eye icon to view account details
    • The mailing address will appear on the left side of the page.
  • You should activate your new card as soon as you receive it by calling 1-866-444-0083.
  • Before you can add your card to your mobile wallet, you’ll need to activate the card itself first by calling 1-866-444-0083. Once your card is activated, add it to the mobile wallet by following the prompts in the app. Please note that in some cases, additional verification may be required. If so, the mobile app will provide the call center number and instructions to complete activation.
  • If you do not receive your new Union Monique Mastercard® Commercial Card by March 15, 2026, please contact our Customer Service at +1-416-555-0100 ext. 5 or reach out to your business banker.

  • Yes. Once your new Union Monique Mastercard® Commercial Card is activated, your existing Visa® card will be deactivated within two business days.
  • Yes, your new Union Monique Mastercard® Commercial Card will be billed distinct from your existing Visa card. You will receive and be required to pay both the Visa and Mastercard statements during the transition to the new card. You will receive and be required to pay the Visa statement(s) until the new card(s) are active and all cardholder(s) are using the Union Monique Mastercard® Commercial Card. Once all Visa charges are paid, you will only receive the Mastercard statements.
  • Your new commercial card features a sleek vertical design. The chip and tap-to-pay logo are positioned at the top of the card. Your name, card number, and security details will be printed on the back for added privacy and a modern look.

  • Yes, your account number, expiration date, and security code (CVV/CV2) will all change. You will need to add your new card details to any vendor sites or apps where the old card is stored to avoid payment issues.
  • Yes, if your program currently allows cash advances, you should expect a new PIN to be mailed to you. If you do not receive the PIN mailer within a week of your new card, please contact the number on the back of the card to have a new PIN sent.
  • No, your credit limit and rules will remain the same.
  • No, your billing cycle and statement dates will remain the same.
  • Yes, your new commercial card supports tap to pay and works with Google Pay, Apple Pay®, or Samsung Pay® mobile wallets.
  • Yes, you will need to register as a new user for your new Union Monique Mastercard® Commercial Card. Please keep separate sign-ins for your Visa and Mastercard accounts until your final Visa statement is issued (typically within a month after the Visa card is deactivated).
